The only public transport effective enough is a cycle rickshaw, and trust me they can reach good speeds. This is a view of the Hall Bazaar, one of the oldest shopping complex in the city. It too is getting it's share of malls. But nothing can take the experience of shopping in these stores...
The Golden Temple, a holy place for the Sikh Religion and one of the places in the country where my minds stops talking and starts to listen. We reached this place at around 1.45pm. The view from the Hall Bazaar entrance.
This guru is wearing the 5 yard turban, which very few can think of wearing and I guess are only allowed to wear after a certain level of devotion. But neverthe less, amazing stuff.
When you visit Punjab, everything is to be proud of. This was one thing I couldn't resist taking a picture of, something which I really hadn't seen in a long time and being away from the northern region.

Politics always come in between heaven and hell. Jalianwala Bagh was where one of the most tragic instances took place way back in the 90's, lot of people lost their lives for no reason...and the landmark still echoes of people who were there...spooky. But I hope you can see the context in the picture.
It was a short visit to the city and we were back in Delhi the same night...
